Il Ponticello Ristorante - Salcedo Village, Makati City

Had a recent business meeting at Il Ponticello Ristorante located at 2nd Floor Antel 2000, 121 Valero St. Salcedo Village, Makati City.

First things first, as the name implies it is an Italian restaurant. It has a lovely interior and ambiance completed with the dark feeling and european pieces .

Overall rank is 4 out of 5.
Food: Just right. Didn't taste artificial.
Service: Very attentive.
Price: Good for its serving size.
Ambiance: Good. Quiet. Intimate. But this place was known to be a good stop during the night. Very lively and festive.

Food I had during the meeting:
1. Breadsticks. every table had thse long breadsticks that are yummy and fun to eat,
2. Bruschetta [PHP170] - toasted bread with tomatoes and salsa topped on it. Very yummy!
3. Capricciosa [PHP 280] - Pizza topped with vegetables and olives. Even though the toppers might sound boring, but believe me the harmony of the vegetables and cheese used was lovely. It tasted good and filling.
4. Ai Sapore Di Mare [PHP 375] - Arborio rice with seafood catch of the day. First risotto i tried that didn't have a strong taste. Even though it contained lots of seafood, it just did not have a heavy taste. It was very light and smooth.
5. Don Luciano White Wine 2008 [PHP 120 per glass] - crisp taste, good combination with the risotto. Liked it.

Il Ponticello has a good reputation on their wine. Do try their selection after office, and let me know it worked out for you. :) Happy tripping.
